Adopting microcomputer PID intelligent temperature control system and equipped with high-precision thermocouple sensors, the temperature control accuracy can reach ±1℃;

Working temperature range: room temperature +10℃~300℃ (up to 400℃ optional), fully covering the commonly used temperature points for wire and cable aging tests (such as 100℃, 120℃, 135℃, 200℃, etc.);

The temperature uniformity inside the box is better than ±2.5% (tested according to standard methods), ensuring that all samples are in a consistent temperature field environment and eliminating the impact of temperature deviation on test results.


Standard natural ventilation design
The equipment is designed in strict accordance with the technical requirements for natural ventilation aging boxes in GB/T 2951.12-2008 and IEC 60811-1-2 standards;

The number of air exchanges can be adjusted through a precision needle valve, and combined with a special air exchange volume measuring device (optional), the air exchange volume can be accurately controlled within the standard requirement range of 8 to 20 times/hour;

The box is equipped with a reasonable layout of air inlets and exhaust outlets, and utilizes the principle of thermal pressure natural convection to achieve air circulation, avoid abnormal airflow impact on the sample surface caused by forced blast, and truly simulate natural ventilation conditions.

Rotating sample rack (optional): allows the sample to be heated more evenly, especially suitable for simultaneous testing of large batches of samples;

Intelligent timing function: The total test time can be set. When the set time is reached, the heating will automatically stop and an alarm will appear. No personnel is required.

The effective working room volume is about 150L ~ 225L (multiple specifications are optional), which can accommodate dozens of dumbbell-shaped samples or short sections of finished cables at the same time;

Typical testing process
Sample preparation: Cut a dumbbell-shaped sample of the insulation layer or sheath layer from the finished cable, measure and record its initial tensile properties (tensile strength and elongation at break) or other physical properties;

Place the sample: Hang the sample freely or lay it flat on the shelf in the aging box to ensure that the samples do not contact or overlap with each other;

Setting parameters: Set the aging temperature (such as 135℃±2℃) and aging time (such as 168 hours) according to the standard requirements, turn on the ventilation system and adjust it to the specified number of ventilations;

Perform aging: start heating and start timing after reaching the set temperature. There is no need to open the door during aging;

Take out and evaluate: After aging, take out the sample, place it in a standard environment for a specified time, and test its tensile properties, tensile strength retention rate, elongation at break retention rate and other indicators. Compare it with the unaged control sample to evaluate the performance change rate before and after aging to determine whether the material is qualified.
